| dc.description | Los rellenos sanitarios es un lugar previamente estudiado y seleccionado, diseñado para poder controlar los residuos sólidos, con la finalidad de disminuir su impacto negativo hacia el medioambiente, de forma que se compactan los desechos en los que se focalizan los gases lixiviados por coberturas de tierra. La alta presencia de residuos plásticos hace que este proceso se vea afectado, ya que estos tardan cientos de años en biodegradarse, por lo que estos rellenos sanitarios tienden a crecer de manera progresiva y desmedida. Una planta de molido de residuos plásticos y neumáticos aportara en la disminución de estos elementos dentro del registro sanitario del GAD Manta ubicado en el sector San Juan, causando que se les dé otra vida útil a estos materiales que de lo contrario pasaran abandonados durante años, contaminando el medioambiente.
