| dc.description | La elaboración del papel inicia a partir de la tala de árboles que en los últimos años ha tenido un crecimiento exorbitante acorde a la gran demanda en el mercado de la industria papelera en el mundo, lo cual han impactado negativamente a la naturaleza debido a que su materia prima ha contribuido a la deforestación de los bosques, contribuyendo a la aceleración del cambio climático. El presente trabajo se enfatiza en una revisión bibliográfica del aprovechamiento de la planta del banano (pinzote) dedicado a la elaboración de papel mediante diferentes procesos utilizados en las industrias a partir de fibras maderables, con la finalidad de aprovechar los residuos vegetales y de esta manera contribuir con la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente. Varios trabajos se han dedicado al estudio del banano para la obtención de celulosa para la elaboración de papel, llegando a ser considerados como una alternativa real y viable por parte de los inversionistas y quienes se involucran. The present work is emphasized in a bibliographic review of the use of the banana plant (pinzote) dedicated to the elaboration of paper through different processes used in industries from wood fibers, in order to take advantage of plant residues and in this way contribute to the sustainability of the environment. Several works have been dedicated to the study of bananas to obtain cellulose for the production of paper, coming to be considered as a real and viable alternative by investors and those who get involved.
