| dc.description | Existen diversos factores que denotan la demanda de espacios apropiados para el desarrollo de actividades culturales en la ciudad de Portoviejo. La presente investigación identifica la problemática en torno a la sede de la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana Núcleo de Manabí (CCE-M); como el espacio llamado a satisfacer gran parte de las necesidades espaciales para el desarrollo cultural del cantón. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es el diagnóstico del espacio arquitectónico de la CCE-M, y la posterior composición de una propuesta que responda a las características de tipología cultural para su sede en la ciudad de Portoviejo; en base a lo obtenido a partir del análisis en el que se procedió a recopilar información teórica pertinente y sistematizar los datos adquiridos mediante investigación de campo, lo cual permitió la determinación del diagnóstico y el modelo teórico en el que se basa el análisis, concluyendo en la conceptualización de la propuesta a partir de las necesidades actuales determinadas por la investigación. ABSTRACT There are various factors that denote the demand for appropriate spaces for the development of cultural activities in the city of Portoviejo. The present investigation identifies the problem around the headquarters of the House of Ecuadorian Culture Núcleo de Manabí (CCE-M); as the space called to satisfy a large part of the spatial needs for the cultural development of the canton. The main objective of this work is the diagnosis of the architectural space of the CCE-M, and the subsequent composition of a proposal that responds to the characteristics of the cultural typology for its headquarters in the city of Portoviejo; based on what was obtained from the analysis in which pertinent theoretical information was collected and the data acquired through field research was systematized, which allowed the determination of the diagnosis and the theoretical model on which the analysis is based, concluding in the conceptualization of the proposal based on the current needs determined by the research.
