| dc.description | This research aims to review important aspects about the current situation of gender violence from a human rights perspective, determine the violation of human rights of women victims of gender violence in Ecuador and analyze the response of the Ecuadorian state. as a promoter of human rights against gender violence. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out through the documentary analysis of content from the bibliographic review of national references carried out through information sources such as Scielo, Dialnet and Google Scholar. The most relevant results show that gender violence is the result of androcentric and macho conceptions that still persist in society, and that greatly violate the human rights of women, against which the Ecuadorian Government has implemented laws, regulations, plans and public policies for the prevention and eradication of gender violence, despite this, the expectations developed that generate a transcendent impact on society in general have not been met. | dc.description | La presente investigación tiene finalidad revisar aspectos importantes acerca de la situación actual de la violencia de género desde una perspectiva de los derechos humanos, determinar la vulneración de los derechos humanos de la mujer víctima de violencia de género en Ecuador y analizar la respuesta del estado ecuatoriano como promotor de los derechos humanos frente a la violencia de género. Es un estudio descriptivo de enfoque cualitativo, llevado a cabo a través del análisis documental de contenido procedente de la revisión bibliográfica de referentes nacionales efectuada a través de fuentes de información como Scielo, Dialnet y Google Académico. Los resultados más relevantes muestran que la violencia de género es el resultado de concepciones androcéntricas y machistas que aún persisten en la sociedad, y que vulneran en gran medida los derechos humanos de las mujeres, frente a ello desde el Gobierno Ecuatoriano se han implementado leyes, normativas, planes y políticas públicas para la prevención y erradicación de la violencia de género, pese a ello no se han cumplido las expectativas desarrolladas que generen un impacto trascendente en la sociedad en general.
