| dc.description | This study systematically screened the literature for articles related to suicidal behavior using neurocognitive approaches. Several documents were included, including master's theses, doctoral theses, books and articles in Spanish and English whose research was developed in Ibero-America. The databases in which the review was carried out were the academic Google metasearch engine and other databases such as: Dialnet, Redalyc, Science direct. As part of the development of the research, units of analysis are established, the document selection criteria and for the interpretation of data, an analysis of the bibliometric and methodological aspects of the studies compiled is carried out in order to systematize the theoretical elements that are relevant. in suicide research. Therefore, based on the available evidence, the main theoretical and methodological elements of the neurocognitive perspective in the understanding of suicidal behavior were analyzed, based on publications carried out in Iberoamerica. | dc.description | Este estudio analizó sistemáticamente la literatura en busca de artículos relacionados con el comportamiento suicida utilizando enfoques neurocognitivos. Se incluyeron varios documentos, entre ellos tesis de maestría, tesis doctorales, libros y artículos en idioma español e inglés cuya investigación fuera desarrollada en Iberoamérica. Las bases de datos en las cuales se realizó la revisión fueron el metabuscador Google académico y otras bases de datos como: Dialnet, Redalyc, Science direct. Como parte del desarrollo de la investigación se establecen unidades de análisis, lo criterios de selección de documento y para la interpretación de datos se realiza un análisis de los aspectos bibliométricos y metodológicos de los estudios recopilados para de esa manera sistematizar los elementos teóricos que son relevantes en la investigación del suicidio. Por consiguiente, a partir de la evidencia disponible se analizó los principales elementos teóricos y metodológicos de la perspectiva neurocognitiva en la comprensión del comportamiento suicida, a partir de publicaciones realizadas en Iberoamérica.
