| dc.description | This research aims to develop a theoretical review about the current situation of gender violence from a human rights perspective, determine the violation of the rights of women who are victims of gender violence. Violence against women constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights, and in recent decades it has achieved greater importance as a result of the social impact it causes, due to the high prevalence rates that are generated on a global scale despite international agreements. and of the public policies elaborated by the governments for the eradication of this problem. It is a study, from which it is intended to establish conclusions based on the various aspects that determine the phenomenon in question, which are related to the objectives of the investigation. The results of the bibliographic review will allow creating greater awareness about this phenomenon, as well as proposing measures that contribute to its reduction and eradication. | dc.description | La presente investigación tiene como objetivos elaborar una revisión teórica acerca de la situación actual de la violencia de género desde una perspectiva de los derechos humanos, determinar la vulneración de los derechos de la mujer víctima de violencia de género. La violencia hacia las mujeres constituye una transgresión flagrante de los derechos humanos, y en las últimas décadas ha logrado mayor trascendencia como resultado del impacto social que ocasiona, debido a los elevados índices de prevalencia que se generan a escala global a pesar de los acuerdos internacionales y de las políticas públicas elaboradas por los gobiernos para la erradicación de esta problemática. Es un estudio, a partir del cual se pretende establecer conclusiones en base a los diversos aspectos que determinan el fenómeno en cuestión, que se relacionan con los objetivos de la investigación. Los resultados de la revisión bibliográfica permitirán crear mayor conciencia acerca de este fenómeno, así como proponer medidas que contribuyan a su disminución y erradicación.
