| dc.description | Esta investigación buscó identificar los factores psicosociales que generan violencia contra la mujer en la Facultad de Ciencias Humanísticas y Sociales de la UTM, para ello se estudiaron las principales causas por las que el agresor genera violencia contra la mujer. De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos, se determina que existen varios factores que inciden en la conducta de ciertos individuos: experiencias personales de violencia durante la infancia, disciplina severa, desarrollo en clima de violencia, normas culturales que promueven violencia, entre otras. Para la puesta en marcha de la investigación se utilizó encuestas aplicadas a los y las estudiantes de la UTM con finalidad de recabar material para construir los datos estadísticos que midieran la realidad de la violencia de género. ABSTRACT This research sought to identify the psychosocial factors that generate violence against women in the Faculty of Humanistic and Social Sciences of the UTM, for which the main causes by which the aggressor generates violence against women were studied. According to the results obtained, it is determined that there are several factors that affect the behavior of certain individuals: personal experiences of violence during childhood, severe discipline, development in a climate of violence, cultural norms that promote violence, among others. To start the research, surveys applied to the students of the UTM were used in order to collect material to build statistical data that measured the reality of gender violence.
