The research that was developed during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, served to determine the socioeconomic dynamics that was generated in the actors of the National University of Loja, measuring through indicators the social reality in a period of two years. For which a methodology with a qualitative and quantitative approach was established, which contemplates a field study, description and analysis of the socio-contextual data and social resilience in the university community, facing the phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic, for which the survey technique was used and applied to students, administrative and teaching staff of National University of Loja, In this period of analysis it is observed that the income of students was affected, decreasing considerably, the food issue was severely affected in families, the shopping system was changed to supermarkets and neighborhood stores especially, the frequency of purchase of medicines is fortnightly and monthly, a high percentage of family members have serious illnesses, which did not have access to health services; High levels of student desertion are observed in the family members of those investigated, which leads to the conclusion that there have been negative socioeconomic impacts of the pandemic on the National University of Loja actors. Keywords: Pandemic, social resilience, student dropout, socioeconomic indicators.La investigación que se desarrolló durante el periodo de la pandemia COVID-19, sirvió para determinar la dinámica socioeconómica que se generó en los actores de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, midiéndose a través de indicadores la realidad social en un lapso de dos años. Para lo cual se estableció una metodología con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, que contempla un estudio de campo, descripción y análisis de los datos socio contextuales y de resiliencia social en la comunidad universitaria, frente al fenómeno de estudio la pandemia COVID-19, para lo cual se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta que se aplicó a estudiantes, administrativos y docentes de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, en este período de análisis se observa que los ingresos de los estudiantes se vieron afectados disminuyendo considerablemente, el tema alimenticio fue severamente afectado en las familias, se cambió el sistema de compras hacia los supermercados y tiendas de barrio especialmente, la frecuencia de compra de las medicinas es quincenal y mensual, un alto porcentaje de los familiares tienen enfermedades graves, mismas que no tuvieron acceso al servicio de salud; se observa altos niveles de deserción estudiantil en los familiares de los investigados, por lo cual se concluye que ha existido impactos socioeconómicos negativos de la pandemia en los actores de la Universidad Nacional de Loja.
