LABOR INCLUSION BASED ON THE EXPERIENCES OF VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE IN MANABÍ

Resumen
This research addresses the importance of knowing the work experiences of people with visual disabilities in Manabí, where it is considered as a sample members of associations for people with visual disabilities of the Province, Employers who have worked with this group and Official of the Ministry of Labor , who through the interviews and their life stories explained if in the experiences they have had they have managed to feel included, have allowed them to demonstrate the skills they have and have been able to participate in equal opportunities, this was analyzed with the opinions of the participants who They will indicate if the existing regulations are applicable and how the control and monitoring of the authorities is carried out. Previous research indicates that the number of people with visual problems is constantly growing in the world, reaching the point of disability, some with blindness and others with low vision. In Ecuador, 11.59% of people with disabilities have visual disabilities, and in Manabí of the 6,136 people with a disability card, only 710 are working in public and private institutions, receiving the corresponding remuneration. A methodology with a qualitative research approach, of empirical phenomenological scope, is proposed. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with those who have had the experience supervising the work carried out by the visually impaired. Information was taken through the life histories of people with visual disabilities and if they consider that labor inclusion is taking place and that it is necessary for true inclusion to be made.

Esta investigación aborda la importancia de conocer las experiencias laborales de las personas con discapacidad visual en Manabí, donde se considera como muestra a Miembros de Asociaciones para Personas con Discapacidad visual, Empleadores que han trabajado con este grupo y Profesional del servicio de inserción laboral para personas con discapacidad (SIL), quienes mediante las entrevistas y sus historias de vida explicaron si en las experiencias han logrado sentirse incluidos, les han permitido demostrar las habilidades que tienen y han podido participar en igualdad de oportunidades, esto se analizó con las opiniones de quienes han trabajado como jefes inmediatos de las personas con discapacidad visual. La investigación previa indica que en el mundo crece la cifra de personas con problemas visuales, llegando hasta la discapacidad, unos con ceguera y otros con baja visión. En Ecuador el 11.55% de personas con discapacidad registradas en el registro Nacional de discapacidad son visuales. En Manabí de las 4.760 personas con carnet de discapacidad laboralmente activas, 712 tienen discapacidad visual y están laborando en instituciones públicas y privadas, percibiendo las remuneraciones correspondientes. Se plantea una metodología con enfoque investigativo cualitativo, de alcance fenomenológico empírico. Se realizó entrevistas semiestructuradas a quienes han tenido la experiencia supervisando el trabajo que realizan las personas con discapacidad visual. Se efectuó la toma de información mediante las historias de vida de las personas con discapacidad visual y si consideran que se está dando la inclusión laboral y que hace falta para que se realice una verdadera inclusión.
