| dc.description | La discriminación de género nació hace mucho tiempo, tomándose como referencia los albores de la agricultura, donde se dividió al hombre y a la mujer en sus labores ante la sociedad, generándose condiciones de desigualdad en el trato y en las responsabilidades entre hombres y mujeres, siendo estas últimas las que llevaban el menor peso en la balanza de la igualdad. Por ende, se busca revisar la literatura sobre la discriminación de género y la intervención social con enfoque de género. Las actitudes negativas exteriorizadas hacia un grupo social o hacia personas percibidas como miembros de estos grupos, son conocidas como prejuicio, estas actitudes constan de tres elementos: comportamentales, cognitivos y afectivos. Se concluye que para percibir las desigualdades de género es importante mantener una mirada crítica con enfoque, ya que la tendencia inconsciente nos impide detectarlas o nos lleva a restarles importancia, cuando no a justificarlas. ABSTRACT: Gender discrimination was born a long time ago, taking as a reference the dawn of agriculture, where men and women were divided in their work before society, generating conditions of inequality in treatment and responsibilities between men and women, being the latter the ones that carried the least weight on the equality scale. Therefore, the aim is to review the literature on gender discrimination and social intervention with a gender focus. The negative externalized attitudes towards a social group or towards people perceived as members of these groups are known as prejudice, these attitudes consist of three elements: behavioral, cognitive and affective. It is concluded that in order to perceive gender inequalities it is important to keep a critical gaze with focus, since the unconscious tendency prevents us from detecting them or leads us to downplay them, if not to justify them.
