dc.descriptionThis paper addresses and emphasizes the importance of agroecology in the search for sustainability in the management of natural resources. Agroecology raises proposals for agricultural management and development based on social and ecological sustainability, which can provide interesting ways to overcome great challenges facing humanity, such as climate change, the depletion of fossil and mineral resources, or hunger and migrations. The importance of working with the theme that is the object of this study is the need to analyze proposals that unite social, economic and environmental sustainability in a problematic context for emerging agroecology. dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo aborda y enfatiza la importancia de la agroecología en la búsqueda de la sustentabilidad en el manejo de recursos naturales. La agroecología plantea propuestas de manejo agrario y desarrollo basadas en la sostenibilidad social y ecológica, que pueden aportar interesantes vías para superar grandes retos de la humanidad, tales como el cambio climático, el agotamiento de los recursos fósiles y minerales, o el hambre y las migraciones. La importancia de trabajar con el tema que es objeto de este estudio es la necesidad de analizar propuestas que unen sostenibilidad social, económica y ambiental en un contexto problemático para la agroecología emergente.   Palabras clave: agroecología, recursos naturales, sostenibilidad social, ambiente.  ABSTRACT This paper addresses and emphasizes the importance of agroecology in the search for sustainability in the management of natural resources.
