| dc.description | The present bibliographic review work leads to review financial concepts of companies in the construction sector considering that this sector has become one of the drivers of the economy. The construction of infrastructure, more than an end, constitutes a means through which other economic activities grow and develop. Today, the main economic currents assume that the set of financial instruments, of one or several types of assets, are selected based on their associated risks and returns. In this sense, for this approach, it is important to use valuation models that allow estimating the expected profitability based on a systematic risk; this is based on market equilibrium and assumes that the supply of financial assets equals their demand. This proposed work contributes to obtaining knowledge about the capital structure of engineering and civil works companies through a bibliographic study. | dc.description | El presente trabajo de revisión bibliográfica conlleva a revisar conceptos financieros de las empresas del sector construcción considerando que este sector se ha convertido en uno de los impulsores de la economía. La construcción de infraestructura más que un fin se constituye en un medio a través del cual las demás actividades económicas crecen y se desarrollan. Hoy en día, las principales corrientes económicas asumen que el conjunto de instrumentos financieros, de uno o de varios tipos de activos, se seleccionan en función de sus riesgos y rendimientos asociados. En ese sentido, para dicho enfoque, es importante la utilización de modelos de valuación que permiten estimar la rentabilidad esperará en función de un riesgo sistemático; esto se basa en el equilibrio del mercado y asume que la oferta de activos financieros es igual a su demanda. Este trabajo propuesto contribuye en la obtención de conocimiento sobre la estructura de capital de las empresas, ingeniería, y obras civiles mediante un estudio bibliográfico.
