ABSTRACT The current article shows how technological tools can be used in the teaching and learning process of children with Down syndrome of Basic General Education in an effective and timely manner. This document presents the integration of students with primary school in the use of technological tools, as well as the innumerable uses that can be given to them in terms of inclusion in the classroom and the new modality of virtual study. The literature examined shows that this syndrome is the main cause of intellectual disability and the most common human genetic alteration worldwide. In the development of this work, the concepts of Special Educational Needs, Information and Communication Technologies and School Inclusion are presented. At the same time, the concept of Special Educational Needs is analyzed, as the main theoretical issue, because it covers all the difficulties associated and not associated with a disability that affect learning and require some type of educational support from managers and teachers; either temporary or permanent, within which is the Down syndrome. For the structure of the work, the methodology based on a descriptive review of articles was applied, through which it was possible to collect relevant information and specify the current one. Parallel to the aforementioned, the article provides significant theoretical foundations to strengthen the learning and integration of these students. Keywords: Integration; technological tools; Special Educational Needs; inclusion; Learning.
