dc.descriptionThe materials used in the construction of the superstructure of floating artifacts directly influence the result obtained due to the intrinsic conditions of the material. But of great importance will also be the analysis of maintenance costs and the ease of carrying out repairs and surface treatment, since the depreciation of the vessel over the years depends on this. The objective of this research is to determine the appropriate material for the superstructure of the amphibious vehicle, considering the nodic displacement of the load that causes deformation and evaluating the costs for construction. Through the physical characteristics of fiberglass and bamboo, the appropriate material for the construction of the superstructure of the amphibious vehicle was determined. dc.descriptionLos materiales utilizados en la construcción de superestructura de artefactos flotantes influyen directamente en el resultado obtenido debido a las condiciones intrínsecas del material. Pero de mucha importancia también será el análisis de costos de mantenimiento y la facilidad para conseguir efectuar reparaciones y tratamiento en la superficie ya que de esto depende la depreciación de la embarcación con el paso de los años. El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar el material adecuado para la superestructura del vehículo anfibio, considerando el desplazamiento nódico de la carga que causa deformación y evaluando los costos para la construcción. A través de las características físicas de la fibra de vidrio y guadúa, se determinó el material adecuado para la construcción de la superestructura del vehículo anfibio.
