Contra el tiempo is the title of this photographic essay and the series that will come out at the end of the process. It occurred to me one day and for me it is an idea that summarizes what sports practice is: a fight against the passage of time and the traces it leaves on the body. It is also an idea that summarizes my photographic practice, not only because I fight against time when capturing the image, but because I feel that I am in a creative and vital moment where things should accelerate a little more; for now my reflexes are, my lucidity is and my body is. Contra el tiempo es el título de este ensayo fotográfico y de la serie que saldrá al final del proceso. Se me ocurrió un día y para mí es una idea que resume lo que es la práctica deportiva: una lucha contra el paso del tiempo y las huellas que deja en el cuerpo. Es también una idea que resume mi práctica fotográfica, no solo porque lucho contra el tiempo en la captura de la imagen, sino porque siento que estoy en un momento creativo y vital en donde las cosas deben acelerarse un poco más; por ahora mis reflejos están, mi lucidez está y mi cuerpo está.
