dc.descriptionUnderstanding certain aspects of International Relations requires the understanding of modern elements of the entertainment spectrum such as television or cinema. However, the latter unlocks an expanding educational potential about the international, social and cultural dynamics of the contemporary world. The seventh art has managed to expose the processes of globalization that show the generational changes, stone the societies and grant opportunities to certain local actors that have historically been marginalized. In addition, today's cinema is a very effective tool when it comes to breaking down real and imaginary borders thanks to the ease in which different actors converge with different backgrounds and varied contexts. Likewise, large productions have opted for regional and international collaboration and filming in different countries and regions of the world. Because of all this, cinema has ceased to be an element focused solely on entertainment to become a weapon of empowerment, unification, and cooperation.en-US
dc.descriptionEntender ciertos aspectos de las Relaciones Internacionales requiere de la comprensión de elementos modernos del espectro del entretenimiento como son la televisión o el cine. Sin embargo, este último desentraña un potencial didáctico en expansión acerca de las dinámicas internacionales, sociales y culturales del mundo contemporáneo. El séptimo arte ha conseguido exponer los procesos de la globalización que evidencian los cambios generacionales, empiedran a las sociedades y otorgan oportunidades a ciertos actores locales que históricamente han sido marginados. Además, el cine de hoy en día es una herramienta muy efectiva a la hora de derribar las fronteras reales e imaginarias gracias a la facilidad en la que confluyen diferentes actores con diferentes procedencias y muy variados contextos. Así mismo, las grandes producciones han optado por la colaboración regional e internacional y la filmación en diferentes países y regiones del mundo. Debido a todo esto, el cine ha dejado de ser un elemento enfocado únicamente en el entretenimiento para convertirse en un arma de empoderamiento, unificación, y cooperación.es-ES
