| dc.description | Social movements represent the acquisition of common identities within groups that share aspirations and seek to claim popular causes. From different theoretical perspectives, it is analyzed how the mobilization of these movements occur both based on the collective historical memory of the people, as well as the conditions of the political environment in which said collective is found. The opposition between the social conscience as the recognition of the individual/collective reality and the wounded narcissism of the ruling classes that see the protest as a threat is introduced. Likewise, collective action is defined considering the way in which it can become contentious based on the impossibility of the collective to find institutionalized channels that legitimize and listen to their demands. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los movimientos sociales representan la adquisición de identidades comunes dentro de colectivos que comparten aspiraciones y buscan reivindicar causas populares. Desde diversas perspectivas teóricas, se analiza como la movilización de dichos movimientos se da tanto en base a la memoria histórica colectiva, como a las condiciones del ambiente político en que se encuentra dicha colectividad. Se plantea la oposición entre la conciencia social como el reconocimiento de la realidad individual/colectiva y el "narcisismo herido de las clases dominantes" que ven a la protesta como una amenaza. Igualmente, se define la acción colectiva y se introduce de manera general como puede tornarse contenciosa en base a la imposibilidad del colectivo para encontrar canales institucionalizados que legitimen y escuchen sus demandas. | es-ES |
