dc.descriptionLo tecnológico y lo social no operan de manera aislada, según los pensadores de la nueva sociología, tecnología y sociedad, son parte de un solo entramado sociotécnico; es decir, que la sociedad se construye tecnológicamente y la tecnología se construye socialmente. Desde esta perspectiva se hace una crítica al determinismo tecnológico que coloca a las funciones de la tecnología por encima de aspectos como lo social, cultural, filosófico y educativo; la tecnología per sé no genera transformaciones sociales.La tecnología en la educación tiene la posibilidad de plantear la emancipación del ser y del saber, esto se da desde el paso de las tecnologías analógicas que promovían una comunicación unidireccional y una educación expositiva hacia las tecnologías digitales que plantean una comunicación multidireccional y una educación sustentada en la participación y construcción del conocimiento colectivo en el ciberespacio como nuevo escenario donde es posible acceder a propuestas educativas de manera flexible, abierta y descentralizada.   es-ES
