Resumen
This article presents the design and SAR analysis of a dipole antenna in ANSYS HFSS. The proposed dipole antenna operates at a frequency of 6 GHz. This antenna is designed with a source, a characteristic impedance of 73 ohms that is connected to two conductors which will be made of three materials: copper, stainless steel and aluminum. The VSWR of the dipole antenna is 1.2571, this being the value with which the antenna will work for the simulation. Once the design of the dipole antenna was carried out, the measurement of the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) was carried out, using the values of the International Commission on Protection against Non-Ionizing Radiation (ICNIRP) corresponding to 10g, having the maximum value of SAR. of 0.46 [W/kg], as well as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) corresponding to 1g, with a maximum SAR value of 0.53 [W/kg], for communication equipment. Obtaining in this investigation the maximum SAR values of 0.00022, 0.000124 and 0.00022 [W/kg] for 1g and 0.000134, 0.000035 and 0.000132 [W/kg] for 10g, demonstrating that the materials used do not cause excessive radiation to human tissue, being within the SAR values endorsed by the OMS.
