Abstract

The potential of carnivorous and herbivorous mammal manure as an energy source was evaluated. Of the mixtures analyzed, the herbivorous manure generated more biogas, however, the methane content was low, concluding that it is not feasible to cover the energy needs of the bioparque under the parameters of the experiment.
