Resumen
From the author's teaching experience, it is observed that students lack the necessary
mathematical skills, which is why it is difficult for them to analyze, describe, reason, understand
and solve situations of daily life and apply them to solve mathematical problems. Due to the
covid-19 pandemic, ignorance or poor application of methods, techniques and instruments by
educators, limited didactic material in the classroom, reflects little affinity with the subject. Based
on this problem, the general research objective is to establish active methodological strategies
to promote mathematical logical thinking in students and as specific objectives to theoretically
base the influence of methods and strategies on logical and mathematical reasoning; determine
the methodologies, strategies, mathematical exercises proposed by teachers, in the teaching
of each of the processes and propose active methodological strategies that promote logical
reasoning in mathematical exercises and problems. For this, collaborative, cooperative memory
and attention games have been carried out, using challenge sheets and logical mathematical
exercises, operations bingos and simple problem solving, related to their environment. By
applying the researched strategies, students have the potential to acquire skills to solve
mathematical situations in their environment, as a consequence, students are motivated and
more interested in studying and applying the knowledge acquired in mathematics.
