Gamificación como estrategia didáctica innovadora en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las ciencias naturales

Education has not changed for several years now, being traditional, which dampens the creativity of students because they are forced to follow less playful methodologies that do not meet the needs of a world in progress, for this reason implement gamification as a didactic strategy that improves the generation of knowledge in the subject of natural sciences, is the main objective of this article. The type of study is descriptive. The technique used was participant observation, using the synthetic analytical method, and a survey was used as an instrument. Twenty-one natural science teachers from different institutions were selected as the study population. The results showed that traditional methodologies are useful for learning, also, in the educational institutions where teachers work, they refer that they support training and specialization in current educational methodologies. Regarding gamification, teachers fully agree that it influences the learning of natural sciences, since classes are more interesting, creative and encourage participation in the classroom. Through the results, it could be concluded that gamification is an innovative didactic strategy, because through the game it achieves better results, activates skills or employs specific actions in the student, thus, capturing their attention, so it is essential to consider a reorientation of the teaching methods or techniques, because the learning process must be correctly guided by the student-Centered Pedagogy.
