Collaborative learning is a guide that promotes the distribution of shares within the classroom to focus them on a social and academic learning experience since it lies in students to function in the group to run the tasks of combined fashion. Learning in this direction is due to the interchange of information between students, which are both specific to achieve proper learning and to expand the level of profit from others. Also, benefits student’s different structure, since each one contributes to the set with their skills and knowledge. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the benefits of collaborative work; highlighting the advantages over the traditional techniques used to cause significant learning in students or participants in the development of training in the area of mathematics course. At present, comprises a considerable increase in the educational training quality in different educational processes. It also enhances human quality, professionalism, vocation, and responsibility with which teachers rank the students in the production of knowledge and skills for the benefit of the community. We highlight the five components of collaborative learning. El objetivo de esta investigación, es demostrar los beneficios del trabajo colaborativo; destacando las ventajas sobre las técnicas tradicionales utilizados para originar aprendizaje significativo en los alumnos o los participantes en el desarrollo de un curso o una sesión de aprendizaje en el área de Matemáticas. En la actualidad, a nivel nacional, consta un incremento importante por la calidad formativa educacional en los diferentes procesos educativos. De esta manera, se realza mayormente la calidad humana, profesionalismo, vocación y la responsabilidad con que los docentes alinean a los estudiantes en la producción de conocimientos y destrezas para beneficio de la colectividad. Se destaca los cinco componentes del aprendizaje colaborativo.
