The present investigation deals with the institutional ethics of the Municipal GAD of Quinsaloma and its effects on its social responsibility and was developed because it has been detected that there is a lack in the ethical values of the officials of this company, which produces adverse effects. both for interpersonal relations, and administrative tasks and make the services provided by this public entity called GAD (Decentralized Autonomous Government) have several exclusive powers, one of the most important is to plan and formulate development plans for the canton with greater emphasis in terms of land use planning. Therefore, to have a direct influence on social issues on the population, this entity must have upright officials with ethical and moral principles, and a vocation for service in order to contribute positively to the environment in which it operates. With the development of this project, it was possible to identify if the municipal government has stipulated an ethical code that regulates the actions of its officials and at the same time it was analyzed if it is complied with by the company’s collaborators at the time of executing their work and engage with your internal and external audience. All this led to determining the effects this has on the company’s social responsibility towards the population of the canton in general.La presente investigación trata sobre la ética institucional del GAD Municipal de Quinsaloma y sus efectos en la responsabilidad social de la misma y fue desarrollada debido a que se ha detectado que existe carencia en los valores éticos de los funcionarios de esta empresa lo que produce efectos negativos tanto para las relaciones interpersonales, las labores administrativas y encarecen los servicios brindados por Esta entidad pública denominada GAD (Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado) tiene varias competencias exclusivas, una de las más importantes es la de planificar y formular planes de desarrollo para el cantón con mayor énfasis en materia de ordenamiento territorial. Por ello, al tener influencia directa sobre cuestiones sociales sobre la población esta entidad debe contar con funcionarios íntegros con principios éticos y morales, y con vocación de servicio a fin de aportar positivamente al entorno en el que opera. Con el desarrollo del presente proyecto se logró identificar si en el gobierno municipal se ha estipulado un código ético que regule el actuar de sus funcionarios y a la vez se analizó si el mismo es acatado por los colaboradores de la empresa al momento de ejecutar sus labores y relacionarse con su público interno y externo. Todo esto derivó a determinar los efectos que esto supone a la responsabilidad social de la empresa para con la población del cantón en general.
