dc.descriptionThis research presents a case study within the area of Clinical Psychology whose theme is the dysfunctionality of thinking and its influence on the emotional response of a 15-year-old adolescent, focused on the theory of Behavioral Cognitive Current originated from Aaron Beck. Psychometric tests such as the Ruiz and Lujan Automatic Thoughts Inventory are used as an instrument to obtain the required information on automatic thoughts classified within the framework of cognitive distortions and the Beck Depression Inventory to measure the patient's emotional response. In addition to the use of techniques such as clinical observation, clinical history and psychological evaluation in general, the fundamental objective is to determine the influence that dysfunctional thoughts exert on the emotional response of the patient of the Communal Center "Christ of consolation" of the city of Babahoyo - Province of the Rios.

dc.descriptionEn esta investigación se presenta un estudio de caso dentro del área de Psicología Clínica cuya temática es la disfuncionalidad del pensamiento y su influencia en la respuesta emocional de una adolescente en crisis de 15 años, enfocado en la teoría de la Corriente Cognitivo Conductual originada desde Aaron Beck. Se emplean pruebas psicométricas como el Inventario de Pensamientos Automáticos de Ruiz y Lujan como instrumento para obtener la información requerida sobre los pensamientos automáticos clasificados dentro del marco de las distorsiones cognitivas y el Inventario de depresión de Beck para medir la respuesta emocional de la paciente. Además del uso de técnicas como la observación clínica, historia clínica y evaluación psicológica en general, siendo el objetivo fundamental el determinar la influencia que ejercen los pensamientos disfuncionales sobre la respuesta emocional de la paciente del Centro Comunal “Cristo del consuelo” de la ciudad de Babahoyo- Provincia de los Ríos.
