The objective of this clinical case is the adaptation of soft lenses to a myopic patient since he wishes to stop wearing frame lenses since he feels much more comfortable with contact lenses. El presente trabajo de investigación es sobre un paciente masculino de 18 años el cual presenta miopía patológica este tipo de ametropía es de mucha relevancia ya que el profesional optómetra debe detectarlo a temprana edad ya que cuando una ametropía no es detectada a tiempo puede generar problemas más graves como la perdida de la visión. El objetivo de este caso clínico es la adaptación de lentes blandos a paciente miope ya que desea dejar de usar los lentes de armazón ya que se siente mucho más cómodo con los lentes de contacto.
