| dc.description | The case of a 7-year-old male patient, a resident student in the city of Babahoyo, who presented to the health home due to respiratory symptoms: cough, dyspnea and chest tightness, is presented. The patient had already been diagnosed with Bronchial Asthma since birth, so through the clinicopathological correlation it was concluded that he was in an asthmatic crisis, pharmacological support was used to correct said condition. Below we present the case together with a detailed review of bronchial asthma. | |

| dc.description | Se expone el caso de un paciente masculino de 7 años de edad, estudiante residente de la ciudad de Babahoyo quien se presenta a casa de salud por sintomatología respiratoria: tos, disnea y opresión en el pecho. El paciente ya había sido diagnosticado desde su nacimiento con Asma Bronquial por lo que mediante la correlación Clinico-patologico se llegó a la conclusión de que se encontraba en una crisis asmática, se efectuó el uso de soporte farmacológico para la corrección de dicha afección. A continuación presentamos el caso junto con una revisión a detalle sobre el asma bronquial. | |
