dc.descriptionGuillermo Lasso Mendoza wins the Presidency of the Republic in 2021, beating Andrés Arauz in the second round of elections, with a small margin of difference and an outsider vote, which can be explained not as a majority support for his leadership, plan or proposal, but as a counter-hegemonic reaction to the Correa option. Lasso wins with a borrowed vote, he arrives at the finish line with other people's shoes, he wins because of the cleavage in which our politics is walking, combining a strategy of summoning the support of all the fronts, sectors and tendencies outside Correaism, Lasso wins from the perspective of consolidating a change that, based on dialogue, on the construction of agreements and on plurality in the face of the heterogeneous composition of the social fabric, constitutes a great national pact. Cause, strategy, mapping and characterization of actors: definition of alliances and contradictories, the manual is clear: capitalize on the mobilizing ideal, add support, consolidate the hard base of power and isolate the contradictor. The article explores, from the perspective of expert political analysts, the communication and political management errors that emptied the significance of the meeting and diluted Guillermo Lasso's small political capital.en-US
