Efecto de Quinua de Descarte ( Chenopodium Quinua Willd) en Alimentacion de Pollos de Engorde Cobb-500

Resumen
Ochenta pollos de carne de la línea genética Cobb 500 fueron distribuidos, bajo el Diseño
Completamente Randomizado, en cuatro lotes de 20 pollos cada uno y asignados en los siguientes
tratamientos: T0 (ración testigo, sin quinua de descarte, T1 (ración experimental, con el 10% de
quinua de descarte, T3 (ración experimental, con el 20% de quinua de descarte y T3 (ración
experimental, con el 30% de quinua de descarte) y evaluados durante 42 días en sus parámetros
productivos. Se encontraron consumos de 6.00, 6.00, 5.985 y 5.500 kg/ pollo/periodo, que
equivalen a 142.9, 142.9, 142.5 y 130.95 g/pollo/día en el orden citado de tratamientos. Para
dichos tratamientos, la ganancia total, diaria y peso vivo final fueron de 2.750, 2.520, 2.765, 2.257
kg; 65.5, 60.0, 65.8 y 57.7 g; 3.140, 2.925, 3.165 y 2.675 kg, con diferencias estadísticas (p<0.01)
entre tratamientos y que en la Prueba de Duncan se determinó que T3 fue inferior a T0, T1 yT2, sin
diferencias significativas en estos tres tratamientos. La conversión alimenticia y el mérito
económico, en el mismo orden de tratamientos fueron de 2.18 con 3.23; 2.38 con 3.52; 2.16 con
3.29 y 2.44 con 3.70, respectivamente.
