Propuesta didáctica basada en la comprensión sintáctica contextualizada del inglés para desarrollar habilidades lingüísticas en estudiantes “Language Center Los Andes”

Resumen
This research evaluates the language development skills in students at the first level of the "(Center for Technology Transfer and Development) CTT de los Andes Language Center"- Santo Domingo, through the application of the comprehension of the contextualized syntactic sequence, as an elementary method for teaching English. The research type is quali-quantitative or mixed, with a comparative pre-experimental design. The sample comprises 71 students who are divided into 3 groups they were applied a 60 question questionnaire as a pre-test and post- test, in order to measure the encoding and decoding dimensions, and to hear or listening sub-dimensions, to read or reading comprehension, to write or writing, and to speak or speaking as components of language skills. The results show that with the implementation of the proposal, 90% of students were able to significantly improve the capacities of expression, understanding and identification of contextualized for their correct use. La presente investigación evalúa el desarrollo de las habilidades lingüísticas en los estudiantes del primer nivel del “(Centro de Transferencia y Desarrollo de Tecnología) CTT de los Andes Language Center”- Santo Domingo, a través de la aplicación de la comprensión de la secuencia sintáctica contextualizada, como un método elemental para la enseñanza del idioma inglés. El tipo de investigación es cuali–cuantitativo o mixta, con un diseño pre experimental comparativo. La muestra comprende un total de 71 estudiantes, los cuales están constituidos en 3 grupos, a quienes se les aplico un cuestionario de 60 preguntas como pretest y postest, con la finalidad de medir las dimensiones de codificar y decodificar, y en los subdimensiones de comprensión auditiva o escuchar, comprensión lectora o leer, expresión escrita o escribir y comprensión oral o habla, como componentes de las habilidades lingüísticas. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que con la aplicación de la propuesta se logró que el 90% de los estudiantes mejoren considerablemente las capacidades de expresión, comprensión, identificación de oraciones y argumentos contextualizados para su utilización correcta.
