A interligação do mundo, (possibilitada pelo avanço e profusão da tecnologia e da informação) concebido como um grande conjunto de sistemas, afeta diretamente a vida das espécies, das organizações e das pessoas em geral. Abordagens explicativas tradicionais, por não captarem toda a complexidade das interrelações que estão sendo construídas, estão sendo substituídas por abordagens interdisciplinares com maior poder explicativo, como a Abordagem Sistêmica e a da Sustentabilidade, que consideram que os vários sistemas - econômico, social, ambiental, político, ético, etc. - estão interligados e proporcionam como resultado emergências de novas características, que resultam em novas interpretações da realidade ao nível mundial, organizacional e pessoal.This final of century is being characterized by great transformations that implicate in changes paradigmatic as the one of the globalization and of the environmental protection. The interconnection of the world, (made possible by the progress and profusion of the technology and of the information) thought of as a great group of systems, that affects the life of the species directly, of the organizations and of the people in general. Traditional explanatory approaches because they do not collect all the complexity of the interrelations that are being built; they are being substituted by approaches interdisciplinary with larger explanatory power, as the Systemic Approach and Sustainability. Which they consider that the several systems - economical, social, environmental, political, ethical, etc. - are interlinked and they provide as result emergencies of new characteristics, resulting in new interpretations of the reality at the world, organizational and personal level.
