Factores maternos asociados a la macrosomía fetal en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Hipólito Unanue de Tacna, 2015

Resumen
La macrosomía fetal es un problema de salud pública que afecta a diferentes países entre ellos el Perú, y es definida por muchos autores como el peso igual o superior a 4000gr. en un recién nacido. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad identificar y determinar los factores maternos asociados a la macrosomía fetal en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Hipólito Unanue de Tacna en el periodo del 2015. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, no experimental, retrospectivo y de corte transversal; los datos fueron obtenidos del Sistema Informático Perinatal (SIP). Se analizaron 522 RN macrosómicos, utilizando Odds Ratio con IC 95%. Los principales resultados del estudio fueron: la incidencia de recién nacidos macrosómicos de 159 por cada 1000 recién nacidos vivos y los factores maternos asociados con macrosomía los cuales fueron: Talla 1.54 - 1.61 m (OR: 1.31), procedencia C. Nueva (OR: 1.26), estado civil casada (OR: 1.23), ocupación comerciante (OR: 1.37), preclampsia Severa (OR: 4.57) y HTA Crónica (OR: 3.57), multípara (OR: 1.70), Antecedente de macrosomía (OR: 6.77), edad gestacional post termino (OR: 4.42) y ganancia de peso excesiva (OR: 3.73). Tesis
