Sistemas de alimentación mixta e integral en la etapa de crecimiento de cuyes (Cavia porcellus) de las razas Perú, Andina e Inti

Departamento Académico de Nutrición El presente trabajo se realizó en las instalaciones del Programa Nacional de Investigaciones en Cuyes del Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (PNIC- INIA) - La Molina, durante los meses de febrero 2013 a marzo del 2013. El objetivo es determinar el efecto del sistema de alimentación en el comportamiento productivo de cuyes de las razas Perú, Inti y Andina, criadas en condiciones de la costa central en la etapa de crecimiento, mediante los parámetros de ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia y costos. Se evaluaron dos sistemas alimentación y tres razas conformando de esta manera seis combinaciones. Los sistemas de alimentación utilizados fueron el integral (solo concentrado) y el mixto (concentrado + maíz chala). Las razas fueron Perú, Andina e Inti. Obteniendo los mayores pesos en promedio finales en los tratamientos T4 (alimentación mixta + raza Perú) y T1 (alimentación integral + raza Perú) con 1010.30g y 991.90g, respectivamente. El T4 (alimentación mixta + raza Perú) Tuvo el de mayor consumo con 2347g, T3 (alimentación integral + raza Inti) y el menor con 1600.20g. Respecto a la conversión alimenticia promedio acumulada, T6 (alimentación mixta + raza Inti) fue el menos eficiente con 3.37, el T1 (alimentación integral + raza Perú) el mayor eficiente con 2.73. Entre los sistemas de alimentación no hubo diferencia (p > 0.05) en los pesos vivos finales observado con el sistema de alimentación integral de 859.67g, con una ganancia total de peso de 625,23g y para el sistema de alimentación mixta obtuvo un peso vivo final de 884.43g con una ganancia de 655.8g. Se encontró diferencia (p < 0.05) entre el sistema integral y mixto de 1728.3g y 2133.57g, respectivamente. También se encontraron diferencias entre la conversión alimenticia de la ración integral y mixto de 2.81 y 3.26, respectivamente. El T4 (alimentación mixta + raza Perú) y el T1 (alimentación integral + raza Perú) los de mayor rendimiento 72.77 y 71.60 respectivamente frente a los demás tratamientos. Entre los sistema de alimentación, el rendimiento de carcasa fueron de 71.24 y 70.83% para mixto e integral respectivamente. El T4 (alimentación mixta+ raza Perú) las de mayor retribución económica con 25.43 soles, entre los sistemas de alimentación, fueron de 22.53 y 21.36 soles para mixto e integral respectivamente. En relación al peso vivo final, ganancia de peso, consumo total de materia seca, rendimiento carcasa y merito económico la raza Perú registro valores de 1001.1g, 733.15g, 2153.6g 2.93, 72.18% y 100 respectivamente. La raza Andina registro valores de 814.25g, 606.2g, 1840.6g, 3.04, 70.59% y 83.60 respectivamente. La raza Inti registro valores de 800.8g, 582.2g, 1828.6g 3.14, 70.32% y 80.40 respectivamente. Tesis
