Propuesta técnica de solución para la eficiencia hidráulica del canal de irrigación Casa Blanca, distrito de Santiago, Ica – 2021

del Canal Casablanca, con una investigación del tipo aplicada, con enfoque
cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo y diseño no experimental. La población es el canal
de irrigación Casablanca y la muestra los 698.39 m del tramo urbano. Se usó la
observación de campo no experimental y recopilación de información temática,
empleando instrumentos topográficos para obtener características geométricas del
canal con mediciones y observaciones para obtener parámetros de flujo. Se usó el
software HEC-RAS 4.1.0 para modelar el flujo y analizar la eficiencia actual.
El canal solo conduce 1.47 m3/seg (29.4%) del total previsto (5.00 m3/seg) siendo
hidráulicamente ineficiente; acusando desbordes, sedimentación y bajas
velocidades. Se evaluó una sección rectangular de concreto, de máxima eficiencia
hidráulica, con pendiente original S=0.00043 m/m, modelándose para 5.00 m3/seg,
obteniéndose un régimen de flujo subcrítico, velocidad constante de 1.19 m/seg;
tirante uniforme de 1.40 m, con ancho de solera de 3.00 m. Finalmente se concluye
que la propuesta ocupa menos espacio que la sección original y tiene un mejor
funcionamiento hidráulico al haber diseñado con criterios de máxima eficiencia
hidráulica, cumpliendo con la hipótesis general.
