Resumen
La violencia relacionada con la escuela en todas sus formas es un atentado a los derechos de los niños y niñas a la educación, la salud y el bienestar. Por otro lado, la familia es el primer vinculo social en las que se crean habilidades de socialización, en ella se aprende comportamientos que pueden ser sostenidos durante la vida. Por consiguiente, al vivir en una situación hostil, ambiente inadecuado, los hijos imitan y replican los actos de violencia con sus compañeros en las aulas. La investigación tiene como propósito determinar la relación que existe entre violencia escolar y funcionalidad familiar en estudiantes de 5to y 6to grado de primaria. Teniendo en cuenta que una educación de calidad es inclusiva, equitativa y promueve oportunidades de aprendizaje permanente para todos. El tipo de investigación fue aplicada de nivel descriptivo y correlacional, no experimental y de corte transversal, en los resultados se evidencia en cuanto a la violencia escolar y funcionamiento familiar, el 5.71% de los estudiantes del 5to y 6to grado de primaria se caracterizan por presentar un nivel de violencia escolar alto y viven en familias con nivel de funcionalidad extrema y el 32.85% de estos estudiantes tienen violencia escolar bajo con funcionalidad balanceada, por lo que se concluye que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre violencia escolar y funcionalidad familiar en estudiantes del 5to y 6to grado de la Institución Educativa N° 35001 “Cipriano Proaño” y a mayor funcionalidad familiar menor violencia escolar y a menor funcionalidad familiar mayor violencia escolar.
