Resumen
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo analizar la influencia de la remuneración mínima vital y el empleo urbano en el crecimiento económico en el Perú durante los años 2004 al 2019, para ello se evaluaron las variables de manera individual, recopilando la información sobre empleo urbano y remuneración mínima vital de las bases de datos del Ministerio del Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo y del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú respectivamente, ambas variables fueron de periodicidad mensual, asimismo se utilizó el método de regresión lineal, no percibiendo errores en el modelo, llegándose a la conclusión que en términos de elasticidades el salario mínimo real ha tenido una influencia ligeramente positiva en el empleo urbano en el Perú, además del empleo urbano que si es elásticamente significativa, se presume que esto es causado porque el salario mínimo real estuvo por debajo del salario de equilibrio en el mercado laboral, esto sumado al incremento de la productividad de la economía peruana básicamente por un alto crecimiento económico en el periodo estudiado Tesis
