Manejo de las unidades de sangre en donantes voluntarios en el Hospital Regional de Ica periodo Julio a Setiembre del año 2016

Resumen
La investigación tuvo por objetivo evaluar el manejo de las unidades de sangre de donantes voluntarios en el Hospital Regional de Ica, periodo julio a setiembre del año 2016. Se utilizó un diseño observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo y de corte transversal, en el cual se evaluaron 53 fichas de donadores voluntarios de sangre. Los datos fueron recolectados en un formulario previamente diseñado. La tabulación y análisis se realizó usando el programa Microsoft Word y Excel. Según los datos sociodemográficos la edad de los donantes oscila entre 21 a 30 años con un peso de 60 a 70 kg, predominando con mayor frecuencia el sexo masculino; de acuerdo a los datos clínicos, el grupo sanguíneo más frecuente fue el O+, la donación de sangre entera es la más frecuente, los acontecimientos más frecuentes ocurridos durante la donación sanguínea fue la presencia de hematomas como reacción local; en tanto que las circunstancias anormales ambientales que se presentaron fueron que el lugar no reúne las condiciones suficientes que brindaron confianza en los donadores voluntarios de sangre. Se concluye que existe un manejo adecuado de las unidades de sangre de los donantes voluntarios.
