Si desea contactar al autor, escriba a renati@sunedu.gob.pe Se aplicaron diversas técnicas y parámetros para identificar y distinguir fuentes y flujos de lava que por enfriamiento rápido llevaron a la formación de vidrios volcánicos, materiales empleados por culturas antiguas e individuos prehistóricos para producir objetos utilitarios como puntas de flecha, navajas utilitarias, etc., un objetos de adorno. Para identificar los parámetros más útiles para la identificación de las fuentes de obsidiana se trabajó con muestras de Monte Arci, islas volcánicas en el mar Egeo y grandes depósitos de obsidiana localizados en Turquía. Los parámetros cuantitativos obtenidos se emplearon como datos de entrada para el análisis estadístico multivariado y obtener funciones discriminantes para la formación de grupos. El resultado obtenido fue muy satisfactorio, pudiéndose agrupar los objetos según su origen con un 100% de acierto. Brasil. Centro Latino-Americano de Física. Beca de doctorado Brasil.
