Modelo conceptual y numérico para el transporte de sedimentos en alcantarillas, caso: av. circunvalación - San Agustín de Cajas –Huancayo 2019

Resumen
Al ser un proceso natural, el transporte de sedimentos es la causante de la modificación
de la forma de los ríos; esto debido a la erosión y la deposición de partículas. Para la
siguiente investigación, el transporte de sedimentos ha ocasionado el estancamiento de
las alcantarillas debajo del terraplén existente por la deposición, compactación y
consolidación de las partículas. Dicha investigación tuvo como objetivo elaborar un
modelo conceptual y numérico para el transporte de sedimentos para la zona en estudio;
de esta manera se pudo proponer un nuevo dimensionamiento y trazo de las alcantarillas
(como modelo conceptual propuesto), partiendo del modelo numérico obtenido del
programa de simulación HEC-RAS versión 5.0.7.
Esta tesis conllevó a una investigación de tipo aplicativo y descriptivo ya que se identificó
los parámetros hidrológicos y físicos.
El tipo de estudio que se realizó es deductivo debido a que se observó los sedimentos que
afectan las alcantarillas. Los datos recolectados y proporcionados por la empresa SCL
INGENIEROS S.A.C. se concluye que es de enfoque mixto al tener datos de tipo
descriptivo y cuantitativo.
Finalmente, el modelo conceptual aplicado en el programa mencionado anteriormente, se
comprueba el transporte de sedimentos y la excesiva acumulación de la misma, siendo
causada por la velocidad mínima, así como la geometría del lecho móvil y alcantarillas.
El modificar la pendiente permitió que el flujo pase de estado subcrítico a crítico y en
eventos de máximas avenidas se convierta en un flujo supercrítico en el tramo requerido.
