Resumen
Cajamarca Ante la situación que se está viviendo a causa del SARS-CoV-2 y la importancia de la salud, alimentación y el hogar, se plantea como una nueva alternativa el uso del sistema constructivo de techos verdes extensivos y la incorporación de biohuertos en ellos. El objetivo del estudio es determinar la diferencia en el comportamiento, funcionamiento y análisis económico, entre los materiales convencionales y de origen natural en la construcción de prototipos para techos verdes extensivos en la ciudad de Cajamarca. Se construyó cuatro (4) prototipos denominados: prototipos A (dos prototipos elaborados con materiales convencionales: Geomembrana, Geonet, Geotextil, Sustrato y vegetación) y prototipos B (dos prototipos elaborados con materiales de origen natural: Stipa Ichu, Piedra de canto rodado, Junco tejido, Sustrato y vegetación). La metodología se desarrolló a partir de la experimentación con un enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo), un alcance exploratorio y explicativo y un diseño cuasiexperimental (empleando tratamientos), durante la construcción y estudio de los prototipos. Los resultados determinaron que existen similitudes en los prototipos A1, A2 y B1, B2 respecto a sus características y funciones de cada capa, sustrato y vegetación. Finalmente, del montaje experimental y estudios se obtuvo valores apropiados y acordes a la hipótesis. Concluyendo que los prototipos A y B, durante su construcción y tiempo de vida tienen un apropiado comportamiento funcional en cada estrato que lo compone, similares porcentajes de agua filtrada y agua retenida y que los techos verdes extensivos de origen natural (prototipos B) son un 26.23 % más económicos que los convencionales (prototipos A) por m2. Tesis
