Víctor Manuel Vadillo is a photographer from the Petén society of the 20th century. Most of the exhibitions collected here are shots in situ, of exteriors with multiple contents, of social events and of the Petén environment. The negatives of this material were deposited in the hands of Alfonso Arrivillaga and Silvia Shaw by Marco Tulio Castellanos Pinelo, years ago when they carried out work in the region. This issue of the magazine dedicated to Petén constitutes a good opportunity to give birth to these images, the portrait of a society and a scenario that has changed to one of "threats and profound changes."Víctor Manuel Vadillo es un fotógrafo de la sociedad petenera del siglo XX.
