At the end of the first hundred years of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Declaration on the Future of Work was adopted at the 108th meeting of the organization, held in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2019. This article presents a review of conditions and changes in working conditions in the last hundred years. In addition to describing these conditions, the author emphasizes the present, with the work facing a greater challenge: the coronavirus pandemic and the dramatic transformations that occur in the field of work around the world.Al cumplirse los primeros cien años de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT), fue adoptada la Declaración sobre el Futuro del Trabajo, en la 108 reunión del organismo, celebrada en Ginebra, Suiza, en 2019. En este artículo se presenta un repaso de las condiciones y cambios en las condiciones del trabajo en los últimos cien años. Además de describir estas condiciones, el autor hace énfasis en el presente, con el trabajo enfrentado a un reto mayor: la pandemia del coronavirus y las dramáticas transformaciones que se producen en el campo del trabajo en todo el mundo.
