The objective of this research focused on knowing the most important aspects of the impact that COVID-19 has had in terms of law in the Republic of Panama. To expand the content of this research, a search was carried out in virtual libraries and web pages. In this way, it was possible to deepen the set of laws and regulations that emerged to establish control and order in society and thus be able to reduce infections by applying biosafety measures that have been established through laws and decrees for their mandatory compliance.  El objetivo de esta investigación se centró en conocer los aspectos más importantes sobre el impacto que ha tenido el COVID-19 en cuanto a materia de Derecho en la República de Panamá. Para ampliar el contenido de esta investigación se realizó la búsqueda en bibliotecas virtuales y páginas web. De tal manera se logró profundizar en conjunto de leyes y normas que surgieron para establecer el control y el orden en la sociedad y así poder reducir los contagios aplicando medidas de bioseguridad que se han establecidos mediante leyes y decretos para su obligatorio cumplimiento
