This paper reviews the way the Supreme Electoral Court is currently integrated; and it proposes a constitutional reform toward a new way for making up this body. The reform amends the total number of electoral magistrates (permanent and alternate), removes the variation of its members throughout time, and reduces the term of appointment.El presente trabajo repasa la forma en cómo se integra actualmente la magistratura del Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones y propone una reforma constitucional para una nueva forma en su integración, modificándose el total de magistrados electorales (propietarios y suplentes), eliminándose la variación de sus integrantes en el tiempo y reduciéndose el plazo de nombramiento.
