This article approaches the international protection of the individual with regard to Human Rights; since the onset of the International Law of Human Rights, the individual is consolidated as an active subject within the international scope, and there are diverse courts where the individual may appear to that end.El presente artículo versa sobre la tutela internacional del individuo en materia de Derechos Humanos, a partir del nacimiento del Derecho Internacional de los Derechos Humanos aquél se consolida como sujeto activo en el ámbito internacional lo que permite la protección de sus derechos, existiendo para tal efecto, diversos tribunales a los que aquél puede comparecer.
