dc.descriptionThe legal world and the real world consider some facts relevant, qualifying them as legal categories, death being one of them. In both worlds the fact of death is assumed from different approaches, always as the end of life and the beginning of something else. In this essay, by means of a periodic review, the fact of death as a finite category is approached, analyzing a hypothetical case of resurrection. Death and resurrection are described from different perspectives, with the support of examples of how they have been approached by mythology, cinema, science and literature. Finally, some reflections are made regarding the legal effects that resurrection could generate, considering in any case, the time variable, that is, if the period of death were to beprolonged.en-US
dc.descriptionEl mundo jurídico y el mundo real consideran relevantes algunos hechos, calificándolos como categorías jurídicas, la muerte es una de ellas. En ambos mundos, el hecho de la muerte se asume desde diferentes enfoques, siempre como fin de la vida y el inicio de algo más. En este ensayo mediante una revisión periódica se aborda el hecho de la muerte como categoría finita, analizando un caso hipotético de resurrección. Se describen muerte y resurrección desde distintas perspectivas, con el apoyo de ejemplos sobre la forma como han sido abordadas por la mitología, el cine, la ciencia y la literatura. Finalmente, se plantean algunas reflexiones frente a los efectos jurídicos que la resurrección pudiese generar, considerando en todo caso, la variable tiempo, es decir, si el periodo de muerte llegase a ser prolongado.es-ES
