dc.descriptionUrethral stricture is one of the main causes of obstructive symptoms in men and has a significant impact on the life of those suffering it because of multiple complications. It is divided into anterior and posterior according to the bulbar urethra; anterior includes it. We present the case of a male of 36 years of age with history of obstructive symptoms, macroscopic hematuria and urethral bleeding of 4 years of evolution of unknown etiology. Bulbar urethral stricture was diagnosed by flexible urethrocystoscopy and management was started with dilatations and subsequently urethrotomy.en-US
dc.descriptionLa estrechez uretral es una de las principales causas de síntomas obstructivos en los hombres y tiene un impacto significativo en la vida de quien le padece por sus múltiples complicaciones. Se divide en anterior y posterior de acuerdo con la uretra bulbar; anterior le incluye y va hacia distal. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino de 36 años, con historia de síntomas obstructivos, hematuria macroscópica y uretrorragia de 4 años de evolución de etiología desconocida por lo que se amplían estudios. Se diagnostica estrechez uretral bulbar mediante uretrocistoscopía flexible y se inicia manejo con dilataciones y posteriormente uretrotomía.es-ES
