This article describes the characteristics of a new novel in the style of sentimental postmodernism through the reading of "The Impatient Ones" by Gonzalo Garcés. To this effect, it alludes to the resurgence of the sentimental novel in Latin America.El artículo describe las características de la nueva novela de formación sentimental posmodernista, a partir de la lectura de Los impacientes de Gonzalo Garcés. A ese efecto, se alude al resurgimiento de la novela sentimental en Latinoamérica.
