Study of charge carrier transport in organic semiconductors
Autor
KARINA ALEMAN AYALA
Resumen
The main goal of the present thesis is to analyze electronic and charge transport in organic
semiconductors samples with different polymer/sensitizer ration. The electronic and
transport properties of organic semiconductor samples based in three components: the holetransporting
polymer matrix poly(N,N’-bis(4-hexyloxyphenyl)-N’-(4-(9-phenyl-9Hfluoren-
9-yl)- phenyl)-4,4’-benzidine) (PFo6-TPD)/poly(N,N’-bis(4-hexyloxyphenyl)-N’-
(4-(9-phenyl-9H-fluoren-9-yl)-phenyl)phenylen-1,4-diamine) (PFo6-PDA), the sensitizer
[phenyl-C60-butyric acid methyl ester] (PCBM) [3], and the NLO chromophores 2,5-
dimethyl-(4-p-nitrophenylazo) anisole and (DMNPAA) 3-methoxy-(4-p-nitrophenylazo)-
anisole (MNPAA) has been measured.
Samples with a thickness of 8µm and 0.25 cm2 front/back area were prepared by
sandwiching the material between two glasses covered by the transparent indium tin oxide
(ITO) electrodes.
