| dc.description | Mexico lacks a pharmaceutical policy. This has had an impact on the
management weakness of the country's health institutions to guarantee access
and the availability of the drug, as well as the limited promotion of rational use
of medicines that translates into inappropriate practices such as
harmful self-medication, drug dependence, and increasing resistance to
antimicrobials.
In Nayarit, the situation is not far from the national reality; therefore, the present
document collects through a scientific, political, legal and health analysis the
foundations for the comprehensive design of a state drug policy, a
urgent need to guarantee the human right to the protection of the
Health. | |
| dc.description | México carece de una política farmacéutica. Lo anterior ha repercutido en la
debilidad de gestión de las instituciones de salud del país para garantizar el acceso
y la disponibilidad del medicamento, así como la escasa promoción del uso racional
de los medicamentos que se traduce en prácticas inadecuadas como la
automedicación dañina, la farmacodependencia, y la creciente resistencia a los
antimicrobianos.
En Nayarit, la situación no dista de la realidad nacional; por ello, el presente
documento recoge a través de un análisis científico, político, jurídico y sanitario los
fundamentos para el diseño integral de una política estatal de medicamentos, una
necesidad impostergable para garantizar el derecho humano a la protección de la
